A NET (Native English-speaking Teacher) scheme inherit operation withwithin Hong Kong in 1998. These are the scheme which allows government & state subsidised primary & gymnasium around Hong Kong to uses English teachers from either overseas. A aim of the scheme is to provide students by having exposure to authentic English language & to ethnic enrichment. Nett teachers come as well potential to assist by using resource development & agent step by step instruction for English departments in their schools.

Now, there are roughly 800 Nett teachers within Hong Kong schools.
